Smart Kids Transports is a licensed, insured & privately owned transportation company. Smart Kids Transports proudly offers transportation services to assist parents in their day-to-day routines while transporting students to distinctive public, charter and magnet schools in the Metro Atlanta area. Founded in 2012, Smart Kids Transports was inspired by families in our community seeking transportation needs to attend high performing schools in our district. Our family personally understood the challenges of today's working parents and their schedules because it was our very own. We were a prime example as we drove our children to a North Fulton charter in Alpharetta. We commuted twice daily to take our children & pick them up. Our monthly gas cost exceeded $800 a month. With full-time jobs, it made it difficult to get to work on time and pick our children up. Traffic & accident delays did not work in our favor. That's when the light bulb went off! Someone needs to be doing this for all of our students! Many other parents inquired with school officials about transportation and wanted their children to attend these quality schools but the commute was impossible. I began to tell school administration our idea and they said that would be great for our parents. And there it was. I quit my job as a law enforcement officer and stepped out on faith with the heart to serve other families. This was primarily because I believe in a quality education for my children and other students in our community. We purchased a 15-passenger van and with no advertisement, filled up to capacity in one month. Eventually, students had to be placed on a waiting list. That following school year, we decided to take our company to another level to accommodate ALL of the families in need and purchased a standard yellow school bus. We serve our students and communities by giving parents more options for their children's educational needs.
Smart Kids Transports also specializes in field trip services. We serve organizations such as youth groups, sports teams, scout groups, school clubs, summer camps, pre-schools, bands, churches, etc. We offer competitive rates, quality services and look forward to serving all of your group transportation needs!
